DATA BASES

EAFIT UNIVERSITY offers to the students, teachers and graduated students, a service called Data Bases. The most common data bases are PROQUEST and EBSCO because in them you can find information of lots of themes, they are multidiciplinary. Different from other data bases that you can also access that are more specialized if specific themes.

Why are Data Bases important?

These data bases are a very important tool of research and investigation for any person, in them "EAFIT`s comunity has access to more then 25.000 titles of magazines in the different areas of knowledge" (1) like for example academyc information of economy, politics, trade, commerce, etc. With them, you have the advantage and the benefit that you dont have to pay because normally they have a subscription cost and in our case the university provides us the passwords and the user to enter free. Other useful thing that offers the university is the capacitation or training for the different data bases, in order to understand better and make proffit of all the advantages that they offer
